Personal collection release! Very rare, high quality, gem chrome diopside from Merelani Hills in Arusha, Tanzania. A top shelf, fine mineral estate piece featuring glassy, lustrous, juicy and saturated chromium rich diopside crystals accented with silver metallic graphite and gemmy sparkling calcite. The top grade specimen is from a 2007 find that produced diopsides with a world class lime green color, far better than ever seen before or after. This sculptural piece feature a cluster of terminated / double terminated diopside gemstones. The translucent, vivid radiating prisms are full of sparkle. The diopside and calcite are UV fluorescent, glowing neon orange. A fully natural, raw Tanzanian specimen makes a perfect display piece measuring approx 1.25 by 1 inches. Comes mounted on an acrylic display stand and includes the mineral ID/ locale info card.
